Have you ever given thought to your final car ride in life – that of the one to the cemetery? Assuming you go traditional with your funeral service, you’ll be transported in a typical hearse from the funeral parlor to the grave. If you go green though, you might want to instead check out this Japanese hearse apparently based upon the Prius platform.

That’s right – a Prius hearse. Doesn’t get much better than that for those looking to go green to the very end. It is said to get probably around 52 miles per gallon and cost $80,000. We don’t imagine we’ll see a lot of these popping up in funeral homes for that price tag.
