Toilets which overflow and/or slowly leak can cause damage to one’s home, wasted water, higher water bills and potential expensive repairs to piping or flooring. There looks to be a green-technology focused solution for this, however, in the form of the AquaOne Technologies H2Orb.
The H2Orb is designed to “automatically” detect, identify and resolve toilet malfunctions. What this essentially means is that this electronic device and its components attach between various areas of the toilet and the water valve coming out of the wall which your toilet normally attaches to. Once attached, it monitors water levels and, if it detects an overflow or leak, it reportedly will automatically shut off the flow of water to the toilet tank so that no more water comes into the toilet. An audible alarm and icons on screen let one know the location of the problem and that the water has been shut off.
