Zero Motorcycles Goes Off Road with Electric Models

Zero Motorcycles, the electric motorcycle manufacturer which recently announced the Zero DS dual sport model, also let its fans know within recent weeks about the global availability of its Zero MX and X electric dirt bikes. Both are available directly from the company, just in time, it says, for the fall riding season.

The Zero MX, said Zero Motorcycles, is “targeted towards aggressive track riding” and includes a new, specialty suspension system. It has also been fitted with a 19-inch front wheel and tire package said to work with any motorcycle tire. The Zero M, meanwhile, is more high performance, through still designed for the trail. It has “an aircraft grade aluminum frame to achieve an exceptionally high power to weight ratio and extended range.” Both of these dirt biker focused electric models each offer two different options packages as well.
