We like to keep track of solar chargers at EarthTechling, and this one presents some serious promise. It’s called the P-Flip Foldable Solar Power, and it’s designed to be attached directly to your iPhone, offering solar-powered juice in a snap.
This innovative design from Dexim makes a lot of sense for the iPhone 3G/3GS, as this smart-phone’s big internet brain takes up a lot more juice than the average cell, and thus sucks up a lot of battery. According to I Green Spot, you can just slip your phone into the back of the P-Flip; it works as a desktop holder as well as a solar charger, and can be flipped out vertically or horizontally to bask in the rays of the sun.
