This isn't a UFO, it's the Solaris concept car, designed by Ali Jafari of Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. The competition, created by Mazda and the Aurora Solar Vehicle Association required participants to design a car that was solar powered and could reach a top speed of 150 kilometers per hour (about 93 miles per hour), but still retained a four-wheeled design and room enough for two. Aurora will be developing the design, and the hope is that the Solaris concept car will take the lead in 2013's World Solar Challenge.
