In September, the Corner Brewery, located in Ypsilanti, Michigan, began installing a 144-panel solar array in the hopes of generating 20,000 kWh per year and saving the brewery an estimated $6,800 in energy costs. The panels are a hybrid variety that provide both electricity and hot water, and the hope is that 100% of hot water for brewing purposes will come from the sun.
