California's Sierra Nevada Brewing Company began installation of a large-scale solar array in 2008. Producing over 1.4 MW annually, it's one of the largest private solar arrays in the US. In addition to providing power to the brewery, the array also provides shady parking for employees and visitors. Sierra Nevada's ultimate goal is to be 100% solar powered in the near future.
