Eco Wedding: Cool Decor From Reclaimed Barn Wood
Spring is the season of wedding planning, and couples facing a tight budget are always looking for creative ways to achieve elegance without a big price tag. In addition to saving money, many are looking for ways to reduce the overall environmental impact of their nuptials. This quest for eco-thriftiness leads many to seek out DIY or recycled accents for their special day.
While some green wedding decor can leave something to be desired, the shabby-chic products offered by the Rustic Wedding Shop are picture perfect. Made from reclaimed barn wood, as well as burlap and other vintage materials, the Etsy shop’s selection of pastoral products are sure to put a smile on the face of any eco-conscious bride and groom.

Created by an artist in Ontario, the shop’s handmade pieces include rustic wooden hearts hewn with care from a lovely 130 year old salvaged barn board (pictured above), table number stands, and an all-natural spalted maple wood dessert stand (pictured below). The cake stand has a rustic live edge, is sanded to perfection, and protected with a low-voc food safe matte finish.

According to a recent shop announcement, new pieces including unique cake toppers, banners, and charming barn board centerpieces, will be added soon. ”We love all things natural and rustic, and have created this shop to bring something magical to your wedding celebration,” writes the shop owner.
