NOW PLAYING

It looks like a regular painting, but this piece from artist Diana Ritter is actually on a series of old floppy disks just like the rest of her work. Her work ranges from the abstract, as seen here, to the more crafty, including photo frames and wall hangings that would be suited to childrens' rooms. The disks are painted and decorated, and the larger pieces are mounted on recycled wood or old CDs. Ritter's use of the floppies is an environmental one; she doesn't like the idea of the obsolete technology taking up space in landfills.
