The Eco-LogicalART Gallery in Los Angeles, founded in 2003, is a nonprofit gallery and studio space dedicated to creating art out of recycled materials. They feature exterior exhibits created on recycled billboard vinyl, which would otherwise end up in landfills, and in 2007 their renewable-energy-themed recycled billboards were shown around LA and San Francisco. The artists at Eco-Logical create both fine art (paintings, sculpture) and "functional" art (lamps, furniture), and partake in youth outreach and educational programs.
